Student at The Birkenhead Park School is selected to visit the USA with local Youth Club.

The group of children will visit schools in the United States and take part in lessons whilst exploring the differences between the curriculum and the behaviours of the students they observe.

Halle, said: “I am so excited to be given the opportunity to visit America and see how different the schools are over there compared to schools here.”

In total 13 groups of students from different youth clubs across Europe including Italy and Germany will be visiting the USA as one contingent. The children will be given the opportunity to all meet ahead of their big trip in June.

This exciting trip will give these children the chance to build on peer relationships whilst experiencing a new culture and meeting new people.

Head of Year 10 at The Birkenhead Park School, Mrs Galer, said: “This is a great opportunity for Halle and we are really proud of her being selected to go on this once in a lifetime trip.”
