Careers Programme

At The Birkenhead Park School, Careers education is an integral part of the school curriculum. It gives students ambition and resilience to create positive future outcomes and provides them with the knowledge to succeed in their chosen career. Our careers programme is delivered throughout Y7 to Y11, with the aim of all students gaining as many engaging and realistic opportunities as possible during their time at school. We want all students to realise their true potential and strive to achieve their best.

We are excited to announce some fantastic opportunities for our students, aged 13-16, to explore possible career options and gain valuable insights into their future paths. There are new dates for online Career Day, which provide students with the chance to learn about different careers, receive advice on subject choices, and discover how to apply to university. Each session includes work experience in the afternoon, allowing students to get a feel for the day-to-day aspects of their chosen career. At the end of the day students will receive a certificate confirming their work experience.

They are also holding a free online event to help students who may feel uncertain about which career path to take. Suring this session, students will receive practical advice on how to identify career options that match their interests and strengths.
