Sports Day at The Birkenhead Park School is a huge success!

Year 7 and 8 students have taken part in their annual Sports Day held in the school’s neighbouring Birkenhead Park.

The day allowed students to showcase some of the skills they have learnt in P.E such as rounders, football and athletics.

With many of the students saying that ‘this was the best Sports Day ever’, each represented their school vison and values group with the Positivity team coming out on top above the Ambition, Resilience and Thoughtfulness teams.

The day was made extra special by the fantastic turn out from the parents and the effort and enthusiasm shown by all the students.

PE Teacher, Mr Brown, said: “We could not have asked for a better day. The students were absolutely brilliant! The hard work that they had put into athletics lessons this term was plain to see as students tried their best in all of the events. They were extremely well behaved and did the school proud. We even managed to get some sunshine! A massive well done to everyone who took part.”
